Billie Becker, of Boonville, formerly of Armstrong, passed away October 4, 2016 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.  He was 79 years old.

Billie Becker was born May 27, 1937 in Boonville, a son of the late William Otto and Etta Gertrude Ivy Becker.  He married Mildred Spencer on January 26, 1973.  Prior to retirement, he had been employed as a cook at Farradday’s in Boonville and had formerly been employed as a farmer and with American Recreational Products in Glasgow and McGraw Edison In Boonville.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Franklin and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred of Boonville; four daughters, Jerri Wilson of Linn, Rebecca Aulger and Jo Brucks both of Glasgow and Rita Boatner of Fayette; two brothers, Carl Becker of Milan and Jim Becker of Pilot Grove.  Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, Amanda Hubbard, Katrina Leasure, Cassondra Lewis, Adam Hubbard, Joshua Hubbard, Matthew Brucks, Marcus Brucks, Morgan Brucks, Tonia Wixom, T.J. Wixom and Brent Beechamp and eleven great-grandchildren, Corrie Lynn Evans, Eben Lewis, Carlee Lewis, Cheyenne Leasure, Madeline Dittmar, Alaina Dittmar, Isaac Dittmar, Neil Hubbard, Leo Hubbard, Ella Brucks and Terry Wixom.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Billie Jo; two sisters, Joyce Trimble and Rose Oser and a granddaughter, Dawn Nowack.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home, 3855 Hwy. 5 North, New Franklin, MO.  Burial will be at Clarks Chapel Cemtery in Franklin.
