Don Neer, 86, of Columbia passed away on July 31, 2017.

   Private graveside services will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, at Memorial Park Cemetery

    Don was born May 23, 1931, in Harrisburg to Henry and Georgia Knott Neer and they preceded him in death.  In May 1954 he married Anita Alfred in Columbia and she survives.  He served in the Army in Panama during the Korean Conflict.  He was a founding member of Grace Bible Church and owned and operated Rangeline Auto Parts in Columbia for many years before retiring.

   Other survivors include three daughters, Debbie (Rich) Wills of Macon, Diane (Phil) Davidson and Kathy (Selman) Akyol of Columbia; sister in law, Dorothy (Gene) Morris of Laurel, Maryland and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, c/o Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel, 1610 N. Garth Ave., Columbia, MO 65202.
