Eleanor “Kay” Rademaker, 73, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.

      A memorial service to celebrate the life of Kay will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Elk’s Lodge #594, 4747 E. Elk Park Dr., Columbia. 

      Kay was born on October 28, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Lester and Eleanor Afton Ensor Bryant.  On October 20, 1962 she married John Rademaker in Fort Thomas, Kentucky and he preceded her in death.  She loved to travel, adored her grand kids, and was a devoted member of the Elks Lodge.

      Kay is survived by her daughter, Jona Toalson and husband, Larry of Columbia; a brother, George Bryant and wife, Debbie of Florida; two sisters, Mary Shafer and husband, Stan and Cathy Kemme and husband, Jim, all of Ohio; two grandchildren, Alyssa Toalson and husband, Mike and Byron Toalson

      Memorial contributions are suggested to The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, 2101 Vandiver Dr, Columbia, MO 65202                          

      Kay was also preceded in death by her parents and her son, Marty Rademaker.
