Lloyd Gale Wright, 73, of Columbia, formerly of Macon, Missouri and Phoenix, Arizona died February 4, 2016.

   Graveside memorial service with full military honors will be held 11:00 a. m., Saturday, February 13, 2016, at New Chariton Cemetery, Macon County, Missouri.

   Lloyd was born January 8, 1943 in Callao, Missouri to Woodrow and Nadine Burk Wright.  He served in the U. S. Navy. He retired from a career as a plumber having owned and operated Pride Plumbing and D & L Plumbing, both in Arizona.  He attended Open Arms Baptist Church of Macon, Missouri and was a member of United Church of Sun City, Arizona.  Lloyd loved the outdoors, had a passion for life and treasured time with family.                          

   He is survived by his daughter, Shelly Maupin and husband, Eddie, of Columbia; two step-sons, Scott Wilt and Mitch Wilt of Buckeye, AZ; a step-daughter, Kathy Lone of Surprise, AZ; a brother, Kennith Wright and wife, Tamara, of LaPlata, MO; four sisters, Lyvola Hogsett of Macon, Kathyren Vanlue and husband, Jack, of Buchanan, MI, Shelly Smith and husband, Robert, of Higbee, MO, Becky Clark and husband, Danny, of Higbee, MO; two grandchildren, Bryana Larimer and husband, Dennis, of Columbia, Blaine Maupin of Columbia and a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Wright of Macon.

  Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timmy Wright and two brothers, Robert Wright and his twin, Floyd Wright.
