Marjorie Sue Beatty Dalton, of St. Charles and formerly of Boonville, passed away August 6, 2016 at Windsor Estates Memory Care in St. Charles, MO.

Marjorie was born December 9, 1927 in rural Taylor County, Kentucky to the late Milton Hines Jones and Dorothy Othella Harp Jones.  She was a retired beautician and was of Baptist Faith attending Santa Fe Trail Baptist Church in Boonville when she resided there.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanie Kirk; a brother, Donald Jones; three grandchildren, Michael Beatty, Lincoln Kirk and Molly Kirk Hartigan; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Shirley Beatty.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil Beatty in 1986.  She later married Charles Dalton. Charles preceded her in death in 2012.  A son, Steven C. Beatty and a brother, Eugene Jones also preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Clarks Chapel Cemetery, Franklin, MO.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or Clarks Chapel Cemetery Association.
