Robert J. Imhoff, of New Franklin, passed away December 29, 2015 at Ashley Manor in Boonville. He was 85 years old. He was born January 14, 1930 to Leo and Isabel Smith Imhoff. Robert married Margaret Ann Flynn on May 22, 1956 in Martinsville, MO.
Mr. Imhoff served his nation during the Korean Conflict in the US Navy. Prior to retirement, he was self-employed as a cement mason operating Imhoff Company. He had also been employed with B.D. Simon Construction and as a commercial fisherman. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and Gooches Mill Sportsman’s Club. He loved to hunt, fish and cooking.
Survivors include his wife Margaret Ann Imhoff of New Franklin; two sons, Rodney Imhoff of Boonville and Roderick Imhoff of Blackwater; three daughters, Teresa Moore of New Franklin, Karla Zimmerman of Boonville and Robin Imhoff of Columbia; three brothers, Albert, James and Leonard Imhoff all of Boonville; four sisters, Doris Stoecklein of Boonville, Pearl Holiday of Boonville, Bertha Johnston of Columbia and Martha Gundy of Silbey; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a son Randy Imhoff.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment with military honors will be at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Boonville.
