Don and family, I wish I could say more than I am sorry for the lose of your Mother Susie. She was a dear friend to me for many years. I enjoyed talking to her every time i was visiting my Mother Willena Garrett at Parkside. We had a lot of memories at Ellis Fischel Cancer . We worked together many years. I wished I could have been at the service. Just know that I am thinking about all of you. God bless each of you. Jeannine Knowles-Perkins.

I remember Susie while I was growing up. She was married to Gene Brightwell which is my dad's brother and her brother, Uncle John Purvis was married to my dad's and Uncle Gene's sister, Gertie. A lot of family history. So that makes Susie my aunt. Susie was a kind and caring person. She will be missed. God Bless you Aunt Susie. Love ya Brenda Swearingen Heilman
