David enjoyed bird and coon hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting.  He loved spending time with his family.  He was extremely proud of his daughters, grand-daughters and great-grandkids.  He was always there for his daughters and grand-daughters basketball games.  David had a strong faith in God and ws a member of the Hillside Baptist Church in Fayette.

He is survived by his daughters, Pat Hilgedick and Joyce (Steve) Diehls; his grand-daughters, Emily (Chris) Bange and Leslie (Jon) Sutton; four great-grandchildren, Aven and Alex Bange and Jackson and Quentin Sutton all of Fayette.  Also surviving are one sister, Roberta (Charles) Crutcher of Moberly and four brothers, Carl (Jackie) Jordan of Buckner,  Eddie Jordan of Jefferson City, Wayne Jordan of Protem and Raymond (Sandy) Jordan of Moberly; brothers-in-law, Bob Hutton and Bill Jackson and sister-in-law, Jeane Jackson.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
