Dixie Mae Lowe, 90, of Warrensburg, formerly of New Franklin, passed away October 10, 2017 at Warrensburg Manor. 

She was born in New Franklin, Missouri on November 28, 1926 to the late Frank and Ethel Smith McCulley.  Prior to retirement, Dixie had been employed with Dell Webb Resorts in Laguna Beach, California and had also been involved in real estate investment and housing rehabilitation.

Mrs. Lowe grew up in New Franklin and was a New Franklin High School graduate.  She enjoyed traveling abroad and Canadian railway tours. She was a member of P.E.O., Eastern Star and Friends of Clarks Chapel.  Her church affiliations included New Franklin United Methodist Church, Clarks Chapel Church and Boonesboro Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Lowe of Warrensburg; two sons, Michael Lowe of Warrensburg and Ken Potter of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lowe and a sister, Norma Rose McCulley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, October 16, 2017 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin with Rev. Roger McMurry officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow the service at Boonesboro Cemetery.
