Larna H. (Bargfrede) Mack

Larna H. Mack, 87, of Columbia passed away on March 9, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time for the service.   Burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.

 Larna was born January 3, 1931 in Alma, Missouri to Herman V. and Hulda Wienberg Bargfrede.  She attended Lutheran Parochial schools and, in 1945, was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma.  On February 19, 1961, she married Larry G. Mack in Alma.  Larna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbia since 1967 and has done volunteer work at various locations around Columbia since 1991.

 She is survived by two children, John R. Mack and wife, Lisa of West Lafayette, Indiana and David L. Mack and wife, Amy of Seattle, Washington; three grandchildren: Lauren, Emily and Duncan and sister, Elverna Demasters of Higginsville, Mo.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a grandchild, Rachel, two brothers and two sisters.
