Ralph Edward Parker

1944 – 2017

Ralph Edward Parker, of New Franklin, and recently of Boonville, passed away at his home on April 29, 2017 in Boonville cared for by his family.  He was 72 years old.

Mr. Parker was born September 1, 1944 in California, MO, a son of the late James Ralph and Josephine Suggs Parker.  He married Mary Branstetter in Fortuna, MO on June 9, 1962.  She survives at their home.

He was self-employed as owner of R & M Sales & Service in New Franklin for many years.  He also worked part-time for over twenty years at the New Franklin and Boonville Post Offices.  He liked fishing and traditional country music.

In addition to his wife, Mary, Ralph is survived by three daughters, Lynn Calicott of Wooldridge, Dee Loesing (Carl) of New Franklin and Renee Terrell (Bob) of Boonville; five grandsons, Evan Calicott, Matthew Loesing, Levi Terrell, Justin Terrell and Wyatt Terrell; a granddaughter, Brittany Barthelme and a great-granddaughter, Emylee Barthelme.  He was preceded in death by a brother, John Charles Parker.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin.
