Alice Mae Trueman Hoke, 69, a resident of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Alice was born on December 27, 1952, in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of William Trueman and Bernice Perreira Trueman. On October 6, 1973, she married Gerard J. Hoke in Honolulu, and he survives of the home.
She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her husband of 48 years, Gerard J. Hoke of Columbia; two children, Kristy Higgins and husband Matthew of Columbia and Steven Hoke and wife Pualei Kalama-Hoke of Kapolei, Hawaii; six grandchildren, Sarah Higgins, Ema Higgins, Terinamai Kalama-Hoke, Kaihilei Kalama-Hoke, Joshua James Hoke, and Kamalei Kalama-Hoke; one brother, Stanley Trueman of Kailua, Hawaii and his children, Robert, Jonathon and Kimberly.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at a later date.
