Benny Joe Lusk

Benny “Ben” Lusk, 81, formerly of Imperial, Missouri and Ennis, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 with family by his side at The Bluffs Nursing Home in Columbia, Missouri.

Ben was born on June 26, 1939 in Ennis, Texas, the son of Erastus and Eliza Josephine Lusk.  He was one of ten children.  He worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad and lived in Memphis, Little Rock and Kansas City before coming to St. Louis and retired in 2006.  He was a lifetime member of Meramec Arnold Elks 2372.  Ben and his wife, Mary Heuerman Lusk were married for 40 years and moved to Columbia, Missouri in 2008. 

Ben was the father of three children, Joe (Darcy) Lusk, Trudy (Al) Yoder, and Robert (Shannon) Lusk and step-father of David (Ashley) Malorin and Michael Malorin.  He was grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 4.  He was brother to Margaret and Judy Hollingsworth.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was a friend of many.

Memorial services are planned in the future at St. Louis and Ennis, Texas for family and friends.  Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery.
