Daniel "Dan" W. McGee

Daniel W. “Dan” McGee, 67, of Eldon, formerly of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center.

There will be a private family burial.

Dan was born on November 26, 1952 in Columbia to the late Olan and Betty McGee.  Dan graduated from Hickman High School and attended machinist trade school in Kansas City and Linn Technical College.  He was previously employed with 3M Company.  Dan enjoyed vintage cars.  He could draw and fabricate anything.  He was a great story teller and could make anyone laugh.

Dan is survived by a daughter, Christie and three grandchildren, Amber Kendall, Amrin Helm, Lauren Helm; and brothers, Duane, Ken and Mark(Lisa) McGee, all of Columbia.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve, and daughter, Stacey Helm.
