Geneva Ruth Hendrix, 84, of New Franklin passed away June 11, 2021 at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.
Geneva was born in Rocheport, MO on January 10, 1937 a daughter of Paul and Dorothy Coleman Bradshaw. She married her husband of 66 years Lloyd Hendrix on August 14, 1954 in New Franklin. Prior to retirement, Geneva was employed with Toastmaster Columbia and J.C. Penney and Boben Manufacturing both in Boonville. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, going out to eat with Lloyd, family gatherings, flower gardening, bowling, boating and motorcycle trips. Geneva was also a talented seamstress.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Hendrix; a brother, Manuel Bradshaw; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bradshaw, Janet Bradshaw, Fay Kempf, Carol Andrews and Kathryn Andrews; brother-in-law, Bill Hendrix and nieces and nephews.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard and Gary Bradshaw; a sister, Judy Hay; sisters-in-law, Zelda Canole, Betty Elder and Janice Smith and a brother-in-law, Jesse Hendrix.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:30 am at Boonesboro Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Ross Mutrix officiating.
