Dr. Daniel Mark Plautz, 70, of Columbia, Missouri passed away early morning, November 25th, 2016 at his home with his wife of 48 years, Gayle, at his side. 

Daniel was born on October 17th, 1946 to Ralph Albert and Mary Louise Fairchild Plautz.  He is survived by his 95 year old mother, Mary Lou, two sisters, Becky and Gloria, his wife, Gayle Elizabeth Pestell Plautz, six children, two sons-in-law, eleven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

Wishing privacy, services were held at Bach Yager Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 1st, 2016.
