My condolences on the passing of Dr. Plautz. I have only just learned of his passing this morning. He was our family's physician from 1982 until he left the Decatur, IL area. I had the privilege of having my third son delivered in the comfort and safety of our own home in March 1983 with Dr. Plautz. Dr. Plautz was a true inspiration to me. I went on to become a nurse midwife and now teach nursing students. May you who were closest to him be comforted in your loss.
