Barbara Louise Nivert, formerly of Armstrong, passed away February 17, 2017 at Riverdell Care Center in Boonville.  She was 71 years old.

Barbara was born in Boonville on December 10, 1945, a daughter of the late Edward and Opal Rumbaugh Dugan. 

Survivors include a son, Brian Nivert; brother, Dennis Dugan; three sisters, Patty Hagen, Suzanne Earl and Diana Hilden and three grandchildren, Bryanna, Shannon and Tanner Nivert.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Carr-Yager Funeral Home in Fayette.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association.
