David Randall Stone, 54, of Galveston, Texas, died unexpectedly on December 24, 2015.

   A gathering of family and friends to celebrate David’s life will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel. 

   David was born August 11, 1961 in Columbia to Tommy and Donna Kewley Stone.  He graduated from Hickman High School in 1979 and went to Jerry’s Hairstyling School.  He owned and operated Hawthorn Salon in Houston, Texas.  For over ten years he helped many people while working at Pathway to Recovery in Galveston.  

   He is survived by his parents, Tommy and Donna Stone of Columbia and his sister, Terri Stone of Columbia and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

   David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Edna Kewley and Earl and Doris Stone.
