I have very fond memories of visiting with the family just north of I-70 as a teenager. While I did not make it to the memorial, you were in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply saddened and so sorry to hear about Uncle Obby.I have fond memories of Uncle Obby throughout my life. He was a truly good man and I feel blessed to have known him as my great uncle. I know our families didn't spend much time gathering but the times we did were heartfelt. I remember all of you and feel blessed we are family. Grandma Velma always spoke highly of each of you and loved you all dearly. The memory I will remember forever is Uncle Obby calling for Dad and me thinking it was Dad playing a joke until Dad pulled in while I was on the phone. Wow they sounded identical on the phone. God Bless you all and know you are in my heart.
